Communicating with Impact

Mastering effective messages: from investor pitches to board meetings and conferences.

Have a big client or investor pitch to prepare? Need to present to the CEO or board of directors? Speaking at an industry event or conference?

Regardless of the situation, your success depends on your ability to communicate clearly, concisely, convincingly, and with confidence. Some people make it look easy, but it is not.

Communicating with Impact

Presenting with impact takes practice. You need to rethink your content so that it connects with your audience, use storytelling to make your point hit home, work on your presence to make an impact, and take control of your inner mind so that it doesn’t get in the way.

Preparation is key. Good presenters craft clear content and adapt it to their audience. They tune into their emotions and master them. They engage their listeners and deliver the content using non-verbal communication.

Communicate with intent.
Communicate for results.

How can I help?

I work on a one-to-one basis with my clients to help them to prepare for high-stakes presentations. After an initial briefing meeting to help better understand your unique situation and challenges, we will agree to a plan to ensure that your presentation is a success.

Depending on the time available, a typical approach usually consists of a review of your content, and messages, coaching on your presentation style, and feedback on your slides or visual supports. We will also use video recording to fine-tune your delivery. We do exercises to prepare your mind and build your confidence.

Impactful communicators aren’t born, they are trained.
